We were commissioned to create a naturalistic design for the planting area on an island within a newly created lake.

Working closely with the client, we used six mature trees as the structural foundation and developed a prairie style underplanting using a mix of native and non native plants to form a ground cover, adding some height structure with tall grasses and flowering perennials to complement the wider landscape.
